The Third Wave is coming! (updated 22/07/08)

After what seems like forever, the new nemo album 'The Third Wave' is finished. We're very happy with the way it sounds, you'll find the usual nemo pop tunes on there ofcourse but we also decided to experiment a little with this one. We're currently talking to our label about possible release dates, hopefully you won't have to wait too long to hear it, we're certainly all very excited about it. We'll keep you posted.

'New single release'

Before 'The Third Wave' gets out there, the first single from it 'Yellow Sun' should give you a pretty good taster. It's being released as a digital download along with another song 'Memory Box', which is from our very first album '5 Minute Heroes' from 2004, this album was never released but we hope to get it out there by the end of the year. Both of these tracks will be available in the next two months, we'll let you know of the exact date as soon as we know it, there should be some promo copies of both songs to give out at our next few shows.

New UK shows

This week sees us back in old blighty again for a few long overdue shows, we'll be in South London, Wales, Manchester and Bournmouth again over the next week. We look forward to seeing you there!

What's been going on! (updated 24/04/08)

So far it's been a busy and eventful year for nemo. Since the end of last year we've been working hard on writing and recording the next album 'The Third Wave'. It's been a struggle but we're nearly there! Currently we're working on final mixes and all the little tweaks to try and curb the usual winges and whines from us little 'never happy' souls. Hopefully you'll be able to get your hands on a copy in the next few months. It'll include some of the live favourites like 'Yellow Sun' and '2020 Vision' as well as a few new ones with some interesting new nemo sounds.

You may or may not know, before we started recording the new album, Milan announced that he would be taking some time off from playing bass for a while. Since then we've been working closely with his replacement 'Guenther' who helped us with the album (along with several other close friends) and since Milan's last show (on 31st January) has also been touring with us. The next show will be in Hamburg on 8th May.

After the two German shows we'll be back in the UK for 3 long overdue shows supporting 'Robots In Disguise' as well as our own show at our old favourite haunt 'The Water Rats' which was home to our club 'The System' all those years ago. Look forward to seeing you there! There'll be many more shows to come later in the year so no excuses!

Car Crash single launch.. (Updated 05/03/07)

Last Thursday, The Metro played host to our 'Car Crash Eyes' single launch. It was a great success, though slightly out of sync with the actual launch date (to be announced) due to our first European leg of the 'Post Human Love' tour which saw us play many cities in Germany.
